The challenge
The foundation ran its scholarship programme on an old Microsoft Access database. Applications, interviews, approvals, renewals and payments all had to be tracked across a desktop tool that couldn't support online applications, multiple staff roles or proper audit trails.
What we built
An end-to-end system for a welfare foundation to receive, assess and fund student scholarships — replacing a legacy Microsoft Access database.
- Multi-step online applications capturing family, financial, asset and academic records
- Interviewer assessments, reassessments and Board of Governors approval workflow
- Yearly renewals, appeals, payment plans and disbursement tracking
- Role-based admin, OTP login, audit logs and Excel exports
- Full migration of historical data from the legacy MS Access database
